Srinagar’s Khayam road in dilapidated condition, residents seek early completion of work | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 24 (KNO): Commuters have to face tough times due to the dilapidated condition of Khayam road in Srinagar with slow pace of construction drawing criticism from residents. Expressing their concerns, residents speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said the condition of Khayam road has been a matter of concern for a long time now. The slow progress of construction work is only adding to their woes and urged the administration to expedite the process and complete the work as soon as possible. A resident of Khayam, Suhaib, said that the condition of Khayam road not only affects the daily commute but also poses a risk to the safety of the residents. “It is high time the authorities take necessary actions to address this issue,” he said. The work on Khayam road has been going on for a long time, with residents hopeful that the administration will take note of their concerns and ensure timely completion of the road construction—(KNO)
